Butter, Oil or Grease

  1. Blot off any standing liquid, as you would on a silk blouse.
  2. Don’t scrub or try to clean! The oils will be absorbed into the hide over time.
  3. Allow to air-dry naturally.

Water-Based Liquids

Tips for cleaning water and water-based liquids from leather furniture:

  1. Blot off any standing liquid.

Chewing Gum

Do not try to clean chewing gum from your leather couch. Do not try to remove gum with a sharp object because you may damage the leather. In this case, we recommend professional leather cleaning.
